Advanced Practice Providers: Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Deaconess values the skill and knowledge of our advanced practice providers and understands the important role they play in delivering high-quality health care. To maintain a future workforce and ensure that nurse practitioner (NP) and physician assistant (PA) students meet degree requirements, we offer clinical rotations across the health system.
If you wish to have clinical placement at Deaconess as part of a nurse practitioner or physician assistant program, please complete the following application process. Requests now made outside of this process will be considered. You may directly contact Deaconess doctors or providers. Please still fill out an application with your provider listed. As well as all paperwork will still need to be submitted through the Academic Coordinator.
Our NP school affiliations:
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) as defined by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (NP students only)
- Professional Liability Insurance obtained from school
- NP or PA program must have an active affiliation agreement with Deaconess
Our PA school affiliation:
Deaconess reserves the right to limit the number of students on-site and to decline rotation requests. We are servicing a large number of students and are not currently pursuing new affiliations.
- University of Southern Indiana
- Walden University
- Chamberlain University
