Wound Services

Initial Visit
Our team of certified wound care specialists understand the needs of patients with hard-to-treat and often, painful wounds. The care team will develop a treatment plan based on the patient’s individual needs.

Debridement
Debridement is the process of removing dead tissue from a wound. Removing the dead tissue prevents infection and helps new tissue grow which results in the wound healing faster.

Wound VAC
Negative-pressure wound therapy (wound VAC) promotes healing by applying pressure to your wounds. These are usually changed 1-3 times per week by our nursing staff.

Compression Therapy
Multi-layer compression wraps are used to reduce swelling and improve blood flow while helping wounds heal.

Total Contact Cast
Total contact cast (TCC) is considered to
be the “gold standard” in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. A TCC relieves pressure on prominent areas of the foot that are prone to skin breakdown and ulceration.

Advanced Wound Care
Skin substitutes are used to aid in wound closure, control drainage, and prevent infection while promoting healing of the wound.
