Surgical Weight Loss vs. Non-Surgical Weight Loss

When considering weight loss options, it’s important to find the path that best suits your health, lifestyle, and goals. At Deaconess Weight Loss Solutions, we offer both surgical and non-surgical programs, each with unique benefits.

Treatment Approach

Surgical Weight Loss

Surgical weight loss is ideal for individuals who are morbidly obese or have obesity-related health conditions. Procedures like Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy physically alter the stomach to reduce food intake and absorption. This approach can result in significant, long-term weight loss.  Learn More >

Non-Surgical Weight Loss
Our Healthy Eating and Living Program (HELP) offers a comprehensive, non-surgical method for weight management through nutrition counseling, fitness guidance, and behavioral support. This option focuses on sustainable lifestyle changes without medical procedures.  Learn More >

Pediatric Weight Management
Our program provides a family-centered approach where patients and family members work closely with our compassionate team of professionals for medical weight loss. Our goal is to provide families with the guidance and resources needed to learn healthy habits that build a sustainable, balanced lifestyle to promote long-term weight loss.  Learn More >
