Debbie P. - Registered Dietician

My love of food, cooking and nutrition is what led me to a career in dietetics.  After graduation from Indiana State University, my first job was working in a shared position between WIC and Child Health at the Warrick Hospital in Boonville, Indiana.  I then transferred to St. Mary’s Hospital (now known as St. Vincent’s Hospital), where I worked in long-term care, in the Regina  Continuing Care Nursing home and Continuing Care unit in the hospital.  I came to Deaconess Weight Loss Solutions in November 2003, where I continue to work with surgical and non-surgical weight loss programs.  I have been blessed to be in a career that has allowed me to do what I love to do and help people in their journey for improved nutrition and better Health.

Angela R. - Registered Dietician

Angela graduated  from Sullivan University with an Associate’s degree in baking and pastry arts and then went on to get her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics.  She always enjoyed baking and wanted to be a pastry chef.  After finishing her degree, she worked at a bakery for a year, but soon decided to go back to school to pursue my other interest of nutrition.  I have used my nutrition degree to do nutrition education and counseling in a behavioral health clinic for 4 years, long-term care for 3 years, and has been with Weight Loss Solutions since March 2019.  I still enjoy baking, but also try to make recipes healthier with simple changes.
