To improve the patient experience, Deaconess invested in the Caring MR Suite. The Caring MR Suite provides more space, a quieter scan, and personalized settings for patients having an MRI.
 

• The machine’s “wide bore” opens up more space around the patient during the scan. This reduces feelings of claustrophobia.
• Advanced internal design makes the machine movements quieter.
• Choosing the lights and sounds inside the room lowers anxiety.  
• The use of nature imagery calms patients so there’s less need for medication.
