Emergency Care
Average* wait times for Deaconess emergency rooms
On My Way lets our Emergency Department team know that you will be coming to the Emergency Department, but it does not hold your spot in line. The order in which emergency patients are seen is based on the severity of their injury or illness.
*How are Emergency Room wait times calculated?
The Emergency Room wait time represents the time it takes from arrival until the patient is seen by a qualified medical professional. The wait times displayed on this site are refreshed at least every 15 minutes. Many circumstances can affect wait times – such as patients arriving by ambulance or with life-threatening injuries or illnesses.
Patients with life-threatening conditions will be seen before those with less-serious problems or ailments. These times are provided for informational purposes only and cannot be guaranteed upon arrival. They may be subject to change without notice. When NA is displayed, the wait time is not available.
