Private Rooms
For our patients’ comfort and safety, all inpatient rooms at Deaconess are private (one patient per room). Rooms are large enough and equipped for a family member or support person to spend the night. Patient-family suites are also available (described below).

Visitor Lodging and Overnight Stays

  • Deaconess Midtown Hospital has two patient-family suites. One is located on unit 5500, Medical Renal Care Center, and the other on unit 3500, Surgical Medical Care Center. Each suite offers a well-appointed patient room, a living room, kitchenette, guest bedroom, and guest bathroom with shower. The family member/guest pays $99 per night to stay in the suite. The patient is not charged extra.
  • Each patient room in the Linda E. White Hospice House has an adjoining family area with two beds and a private bathroom.
  • At the Midtown, Gateway, Henderson and Gibson hospitals, a family member or support person may spend the night in a patient room on some inpatient units with the nurse’s permission. If you plan to sleep in the patient’s room, please ask the nurse for a pillow and blanket. Do not bring your own from home. This helps maintain a sanitary environment.
