Three fully-equipped Fitness Centers offered free to all employees, located at Midtown, Eagle Crest and Henderson. Spouses who participate in the Wellness Incentive also get free access! + 401K Match
Deaconess contributes a base contribution of 2% - 5% of your eligible pay based on years of service to your 401(k) plan. Deaconess will match a percent of the first 6% of contributions when meeting all criteria. Deaconess match is guaranteed at 25% of first 6%; additional match if Deaconess meets or exceeds financial targets.
+ Referral Bonuses
Receive a bonus for referring a great new employee to Deaconess. Referral bonuses range from $200 - $4,000, depending on the role being filled, and how long the employee stays. Employees can see details and forms on DWeb under Human Resources.
+ Performance Incentive Programs
Performance goals are set at individual, department and organizational levels. Financial incentives are paid out in December for meeting and exceeding these goals.

Deaconess offers pay increases of for hourly employees who work evening, night and weekend shifts.
+ Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Employees may direct up to $5,000 into a non-taxable flexible spending account for dependent care expenses.
Payactiv is an Earned Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to have access to their earned wages before payday. Now, an employee can go to the Payactiv app and request funds from the money they have already earned, before they receive their paycheck deposit. It’s not a loan, there’s nothing to pay back, and there’s no interest to pay. The money is simply deducted from their upcoming paycheck.

+ Cafeteria Discount, Free Beverage Hour
Healthy meal options receive a 10% discount.
Employees using cafeterias at Midtown and Gateway, as well as the C-Store at Midtown, can purchase a prepaid card and add money over time, receiving 5% cash back.
Cafeterias offer free fountain drinks and brewed coffee each day from 9 AM – 10AM
+ Gift Shops
The Deaconess Auxiliary operates gift shops at Midtown and Gateway Hospital, offering gifts for all occasions, greeting cards, floral delivery and more. Purchases of $25 or more can be payroll deducted.
+ Service Recognition
Increasing monetary gifts are received by employees at each five-year work anniversary.
