Dr. El Ramahi is an alumnus of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Vanderbilt University Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency program, and Cleveland Clinic Rheumatology Fellowship program. She previously was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Notably, she was awarded the President’s Medal at her undergraduate graduation (the highest honor accorded to a graduating senior) and the Sebelin Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine at her medical school graduation.
Dr. El Ramahi’s areas of interest include Rheumatoid Arthritis, Spondyloarthritis (especially Psoriatic Arthritis), GCA, cardiovascular disease risk stratification in patients with rheumatic disease, diet and lifestyle modifications in patients with rheumatic disease, preventative care in patients with rheumatic disease, curbing infodemics through education/medical journalism, and patient advocacy.
