I received a nerve block which didn't help. I called numerous times and they said that I had to wait 6 weeks before I could come back. I am in severe pain, unable to do any activities of daily living, take a shower, clean house, stand, walk upright, etc. And she did not do anything to help. I asked if I could at least have some Prednisone and she said " we don't do that here, we only do nerve blocks"! I have been a nurse for 45 Years and I know the laws. During the two months that I had to wait before I could come back ( this appointment), I went to my primary doctor and he said that because of new laws I had to go to a pain clinic for help. What is the purpose of this fraudulent pain clinic if they do Not treat Pain?
She is very knowledgeable and I trust her and feel comfortable with her recommendations.
I feel like im on my own thru this pain mgt issue...I don't feel supported
This is my second spinal injection and it went extremely well with concern by the staff for my pain level.
