Do you have High Cholesterol?
High cholesterol is a major risk factor for coronary heart disease and hardening of the arteries, which may lead to a heart attack or stroke. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US.
Deaconess Clinic physicians are participating in a national research study for people with high cholesterol and who are at high risk for experiencing a cardiovascular event, such as a heart attack or stroke. The study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a medication in reducing the risk of cardiovascular events.
If you qualify, you will receive study-related lab work, medical exams, and study medication at no cost and may receive compensation for time and travel.
