It's No Shave November! Help us "Draw" Awareness to Men's Cancers
Deaconess is encouraging everyone in the tri-state men to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancers
as part of “No Shave November.”
Be a Part of No Shave
No Shave November is an opportunity for all men to ditch their razors and let their facial hair grow—in a normal year.
However, this year, we know that masks will be covering up your best efforts. And many of our health care workers and first responders can't have facial hair, as it interferes with the proper seal of their N-95 masks.
Instead, we invite all men AND women to embrace their masks by "drawing upon" their creativity and craft skills to design and show off their best beards, mustaches or goatees ON their masks.
We are asking participants to send us photos that show creations. Deaconess will award prizes in the following categories:
- Most Creative
- Most Original
- Best Homemade
- Best Dedication/Spirit of the Cause
- Best Theme
- Best Nonhuman
Between Monday, November 9 and Sunday, November 29, submit your contest photo(s) by tagging Deaconess on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and using the hashtag #DeaconessNSN20.
You may also upload your photo below.
If you wish, you may also hold an "in honor of" or "in memory of" sign in your photo. Download the Deaconess No Shave November printable template
“Shave Some Money”
Winners will be recognized via Deaconess social media in December. All winners will also receive a $25 Visa gift card.
Help Grow Donations
The Deaconess Foundation Cancer Care Fund will be the designated recipient of any funds raised by this campaign. You may make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one. Please note that a donation is not required to participate.
Thank you for helping us grow awareness by
drawing your facial hair!
