The 19,000-square-foot facility is set to open in 2026. It will be a multi-purpose 3-story facility with medical offices, imaging and an outpatient lab and totals about 60,000-square-feet.

This innovative model ensures that individuals receive the right level of care without the stress of deciding where to go.”

The state-of-the-art facility eliminates the need for patients to self-diagnose before seeking medical attention. Upon arrival, patients are evaluated by a board-certified emergency physician, who determines whether care is needed at the urgent care or emergency room level. This seamless triage process ensures appropriate, efficient and cost-effective treatment.

“This dual-model approach is a game-changer for patient care,” said Dr. Matthew Gilbert, Deaconess’ Medical Director of Emergency Services. “As physicians, we see firsthand how confusion over where to seek care can lead to delays in treatment. By combining ER and urgent care services, we’re simplifying access to the right care at the right time—improving outcomes and patient experience.”

Additionally, the facility’s unique billing model charges patients only for the level of care they receive—potentially lowering out-of-pocket costs, reducing wait times and alleviating the uncertainty of choosing between an ER and urgent care.

The location is adjacent to Deaconess Clinic Lynch, which will remain open during the construction of the facility and will continue to run as a primary care clinic.
