Because Deaconess is an 8-8-8 single program institution at a regional referral center in the Tri-State, our residents receive exposure to a broad range of pathology throughout their hands-on learning experiences directly alongside outstanding and supportive faculty and community attending physicians. Our system of progressive responsibility ensures that residents have appropriate autonomy and supervision in their patient care duties as they advance through the program.
