For over 40 years, Deaconess has trained family physicians to deliver compassionate and quality medical care to patients in their respective communities. Deaconess Family Medicine Residents receive exposure to a broad range of pathology throughout their hands-on learning experiences directly alongside experienced and supportive faculty and community physicians.
Through funding provided by Deaconess Foundation, Deaconess Family Practice Center purchased a variety of joint injection models to be used by physicians in the family medicine resident program and at recruitment events for medical students. Joint injection models are effective tools to improve students and residents confidence and skill level in performing injections on knees, elbows and wrists.
